A lovely boat pic.

I really like how this image turned out. I believe this was just after the rain had past so it was nice and overcast.

The scary boat.

This is the boat we took snorkelling. It was the slowest boat ride EVER! It was a good thing we had no where to be. Julia also screeched and screamed a lot along the way because she kept thinking we were going to tip and/ or sink. Its not unusual for Julia to be so excitable... ZEEEEEBRAAAAAA!

Look ma! My horizon line is straight! Yawn :).

The last of the stalkers.

I think Kumbos wife is on the right.

Run Forest, run.

Maybe he was late for school? A date? Who knows but he has warn through his sandals so I'm assuming its common practice for him.

A tear for Kumbo.

We thought this lady was shading herself from the sun but she was actually crying. She was very sad that Kumbo married her sister, all be it by accedent, as apposed to her. It was either that or the sharp shell she stepped on.

Lean back.

If this guy had windows his arm would be hanging out. He was seconds away from kicking his feet up, tilting his hat forward and catching some zzzzz's.

A bike on the beach? Why not!

This guy drove by a couple of times throughout the week while we were sitting on the beach.

Why don't you take a picture? It will last longer.

These are the friends of that lady in the previous post. They look all innocent now but Kumbo and I were bombarded and surrounded by this malicious pack of colourfully dressed ladies. We were lounging under the hut, sipping our drinks and minding our own business when it happened. The circled around us and stared at us for about 15 minutes. They stood literally inches away, pointing and giggling. We tried to communicate with them but we weren't that successful. It's hard enough to communicate with women who speak english for crying out loud! I think in the end Kumbo accidentally married one of them and I may or may not have agreed to buy something. What exactly, I'm not sure.

BTW, look how bright these ladies clothes are! There wasn't any additional saturation added to the dresses.

It's a trick, she is not alone.

She may look innocent but she has something up her sleeve.

Somebody wants to be noticed.

This is just a small dose of the amazing and colourful clothing we saw on Zanzibar. I am really going against "the horizon line rule" in some of these images. I took these pictures breaking that rule on purpose. Why? because I can :).

Going home.

Carrying her seaweed home to hang it up to dry, wherever that may be. Not a bad commute home if you ask me.

Whats in the bag?

At the time I took this picture we weren't aware of what they were hauling but we found out throughout the week that it was seaweed.

Rain or shine.

Rain or shine this lady was providing for her family.

Overcast!

This was our first day on Zanzibar. We drove trough a crazy storm on our way to the beach.

The city of Dar Es Salaam! // B.

Another look at this condensed city.

The city of Dar Es Salaam! // A

Dar Es Salaam was definitely the most "City like" place we went in Africa. It was actually pretty intimidating there.

Where the spiders are.

The view from our room at the Taj Pamodzi Hotel in Lusaka.

The back.

The back of the yellow bellied spider.

Lunch time.

If you look closely you can see the poor little bug that this guy is about to devour for lunch.

A posing spider.

A nice pose for the camera.

Colourful.

A closer look at the tiny spider. He was actually pretty colourful.

Ash head.

This guy looks like somebody ashed on his head.

The profile.

A profile view of this beauty.

Upside down.

Climbing back down to where the grub is after I had bumped the web again. Im actually using my long zoom lens for these shots. Because the webs of these guys webs were so big I couldn't get close enough to use the macro lens.

Monofied.

I didn't like the multiple colours in the background so i made this shot monochromatic.

Itsy bitsy spider.

This was the littlest spider i came across in Lusaka.

You're ugly.

Sorry, but these guys aren't that attractive.

The web maker.

You can get a good look at this guys web maker in this shot.

Lusaka Pine tree // B

Lusaka Pine tree // A

Macro fun with a pine tree in Lusaka.

Hanging on a thread.

Climbing his web.

Creepy mask.

The bottom of this guys face looks like a creepy mask. I kept thinking he was staring at me.

One messy web.

This guys web was all over the place. I kept hitting it and he would scurry away. I couldn't really get close enough to utilize the macro function in my lens.

Spider butt.

The rear end of a spider.

Lusaka Bloom.

The final safari picture.

I will conclude the posting of the pictures from our safari to South Luangwa National park with this picture. It is a picture of the amazing team associated with the Bush Camp Company. They were all amazing people and they went out of their way to make our stay as amazing as possible. The only people missing from this picture was Calvin, the guy who picked us up from the airport and Bottle.

Just a little colour.

Besides the animals this might have been the most colourful thing I think Luangwa had to offer. There wasn't much colour there at all.

If monkeys could blush.

So, how does it feel? Its not fun to be hissed at right? And thanks for covering up that "weapon" of yours. You weren't impressing anyone anyway. And might i suggest getting that thing looked at by a professional? It doesn't look so good. Btw, if you weren't such a prick perhaps you wouldn't have such an issue with your boys.

OH, MY, GOD!

Well, well, well, look whose back. Mr. Blue balls. The girls called me over from the other side of the patio to get a picture of you. Who is stepping over the line this time Blue Balls? You should be ashamed! I mean, HISSSSS!!!

Its log, log, its better than bad its wood.
